Verify your results

MyPDF tools create a new file from the one you provide. Always open the result and check it before you send, print, publish or delete the original. This matters most for compressed files (image quality is reduced), cropped files, converted images, extracted text, merged or reordered documents and anything with a signature or watermark. Keep your original files.

Not security or redaction tools

• Cropping hides parts of a page from view and printing, but the hidden content may remain in the file.
• Watermarks are visible marks and can be removed by someone determined. They do not protect a document.
• Deleting pages or clearing metadata changes the new file only. It does not guarantee that sensitive information is absent from other places, such as the original file, backups or copies you already sent.

Do not rely on MyPDF to hide or protect confidential information.
